Oh how things change in a year! Today as I am sitting here trying to get motivated to write a five page final paper for school, I started looking back at our wedding pictures. I start to think about everything that has happened over the last year.
Next weekend Andrew and I will be celebrating our first wedding anniversary. It is hard to believe that it has been a year already! Looking thru the pictures it seems like just yesterday I was planning all of that. I still miss wedding planning! It has to have been one of the best part time jobs I ever had! Then I start to look through all the pictures of my bridesmaids and just think about how much all of their lives have changed over the past year. My best friend and Matron of honor gave birth to Jentry in September. My friend Natalie gave birth to Kinsey in December and Lacey just had baby Ella on the 2nd of May. And yes Andrew and I are still waiting a little bit longer before we plan for a bun in the oven.
One year ago I hadn’t planned on going back to school. It was something that I had thought about but never truly thought I would go through with and now I am (as of today) a 4.0 grad student and very satisfied in my decision to go back! Andrew at this time last year was not only stressing out about graduation and a wedding but also he took his level 1 CFA exam in June. Sure enough he passed and is now studying for his 2nd CFA level that he will also take this month. When I look back to see all of the happy things that have happened over the last year I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family and wonderful friends to share it with!!
